AdRoc Group is working with a small, but fast growing organisation who are looking for 2 Senior Developers to join there R+D team.
This research and development function was set up two years ago, the team focus on building web-based applications, both internally and public facing and also partner with external start-ups, SME’s and other dotcoms to assist in the design and build of complex, high transactions technology platforms.
The technology stack changes from project to project including:
• Ruby/Ruby on Rails/Sinatra
• Scala/Java/Clojure
• HTML/ CSS/ Javascript
• MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ Cassandra/ Solr/ RabbitMQ/Hadoop
• TDD using RSpec
• Mac OS X for development Linux for deployment
This team is active within the Rails space, if you were at #scotruby – you would have met some of the team over a pint or scotch for sure! If you weren’t at the Scottish Ruby Conference earlier on in the year and you live in London – you would know some of them from LRUG.
