SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER - GLOBAL MEDIA/ADVERTISING - £50,000

PHP/LAMP Developer x 2 | £40,000 - £50,000 + Flex + Benefits | London

Following the significant expansion of my client’s UK online presence, they are actively recruiting two PHP/LAMP Developers for the New Product and Innovation team who are based in the London office.

Working directly with the technical team lead you will be responsible for the support, development and maintenance of a number of high profile web tools/ applications for internal business use.

Key accountabilities

• The design/development of web based products & tools within an Agile environment.
• Supporting existing applications.
• Follow bi-weekly sprint cycles to meet project deadlines.
• Project prototyping with the view to scale up quickly.

Your knowledge, skills and experience

• A very strong PHP5 development experience
• Excellent knowledge of designing, building and deploying business applications within the LAMP stack environment.
• A thorough understanding of Object Oriented Analysis & Design principles.
• Good understanding of MySQL/SQL database
• Unix/Linux command line exposure
• MVC knowledge i.e. (Zend, Symfony, CodeIgniter or CAKE).
• Have good front-end scripting skills - (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript libraries (i.e. Prototype, JQuery, Scriptaculous etc)
• Knowledge of memcache
