Devonshire is looking for a Senior Developer/Architect to join a London based client who operates within the finance sector.

The company are technology driven, are in the process of refining Agile processes and with revenues exceeding targets on a monthly basis they now require someone to work as the CTO’s “right hand man” to help take there technical offering to the next level.

As a Senior Developer/ Architect you will have multiple functions which include:

• 80% hands on coding – taking ownership on the build of database driven web applications.
• Driving the technical direction – may include re-factoring existing code
• Building a world class team.
• Help to improve/refine Agile processes

Technical skills

• Ruby
• Java (J2SE/J2EE)
• Ruby on Rails
• MySQL, Oracle
• Git
• Agile (TDD)

Experience in re-factoring applications using Ruby/Rails would be highly advantageous.
