Ruby on Rails Developer | London City | £45,000 + Share Options + Benefits

Award winning London based start up is looking for yet another Ruby on Rails addition to the development team - this will be the 4th hire of 2010.

The client in question are technology driven, have already managed to attract and retain some of the UK’s top Rails talent and are continuing to expand at a rapid pace giving you the scope to progress quickly within the business.

You will join the team to initially pair on a short two/three month SaaS project which is due for release early next year. You will then lead the complete re-build of there large scale, customer facing e-commerce site adding features, functionalities whilst working closely with the Designers/UI Developers.

The team works within a strict TDD/BDD environment ensuring all code output has maximum test coverage (using RSpec, Cucumber etc).

One last thing to relay initially – they use Mac OSX for day to day development and Linux for deployment.

About you

• 12/18 months+ commercial Ruby/Rails experience.
• Agile (TDD) exposure
• JavaScript – JQuery
• MySQL
• Linux /Ubuntu
• Proven experience in developing rails based web tools, applications or customer facing websites.
