Ruby on Rails Developer (Senior/Architect)| London City | up to £75,000 + Bonus

We are looking for top talent - We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Technologist to join a small team and make a big impact within one of London’s fastest growing SME’s.

The Rails team was set up this year to deliver Greenfield projects from concept to launch within weeks rather than months. In 12 months the Rails team has battled to convince stakeholders Ruby is the way forward – it’s been a huge success!

This wouldn’t have happened without the innovative, General OpenSource technologists already there – all are out of the box thinkers and at the top of there game.

We are looking for a talented individual who has a wide technical background with superb Ruby/Rails knowledge - Someone who is not just a Ruby Developer, someone who will assess the project in hand and use the best resource for the job.

Your skill set:

• Must have extensive Ruby/Ruby on Rails
• Be an Agile evangelist
• Solid HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery)
• TDD/BDD using RSpec

Ideally have exposure to:

• JRuby/Groovy/Groovy on Grails/Python
• Knowledge of RESTful web services
• Agile/Continuous Integration or Lean Programming environments

This is a think-tank team; you will need to be fully confident in your technical knowledge/ability – be able to put forward ideas and project solutions.
