Devonshire is working with a London based VC backed start up to find someone to join them as a Senior Ruby/Ruby on Rails Developer.

Established in 2010, this client operates within the SaaS sector where they have built a niche social networking site and SaaS platform which is already being used by 1000’s – there plan is simple………………………………………………….

To build an organisation which turns over billions generating millions in profit whist making the world a better place!

Version one of the SaaS platform has been released. It was build in-house by two experienced Developers using Ruby (v1.8) and Rails (2.3.8) within a TDD environment to a weekly sprint cycle and RSpec to test.

They have a number of clients on board, have a number of solid partners in place and are generating revenue already.

They are looking for someone to:

Evolve the SaaS platform (hands on coding)
Work on a number of feature driven projects
Add functionalities to the existing social networking site.

Your ideal skill set:

Extensive Ruby/Rails experience
HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery/Prototype).
MySQL, Reddis, Mongo_DB, Cassandra, NoSQL
Linux, Mac OSX
Agile/TDD Methods using RSpec
Pro-active NOT re-active
SaaS Knowledge a big plus
