Devonshire are working with an exciting New Media/Social Networking start up to find two experienced Ruby/Rails Developers to join there west London office. They are looking for one Rockstar/Guru (Up to £60k) and one Senior (up to £45k).
This company is going places. The Senior Management team includes a number of key players within the e-commerce, media and social networking arena - to explain them in four words they are – Innovative, Agile and technology driven.
The company is in the process of building a large scale social networking site. You will work in a small, agile team on all aspects of the development lifecycle including:
Prototyping
Development of the backend components
Frontend Scripting (JavaScript, Node, CoffeeScript).
Caching and scaling projects
Testing
Deployment
This client is looking for exceptional talent. Someone who has worked as a key member to deliver high traffic consumer focused websites, someone who has faced and overcome scaling issues, someone who is interested in writing clean code, someone who is consistently looking at ways to improve site performance.
Your ideal skill set:
Ruby
Ruby on Rails
Sinatra
HTML5, Haml, SaSS, Node.js/CoffeeScript
RabbitMQ
CouchDB/MongoDB
MySQL
TDD using RSpec/Cucumber
