Mid & Senior Ruby on Rails Developers | Gibraltar | E-commerce

Devonshire have recently partnered with a global e-commerce organisation who turn over £millions to find two Ruby on Rails Developers to join there office in Gibraltar.

The consumer facing website and associated applications were originally written using Java/J2EE until 2009 where they moved to Ruby/Rails as a primary language/framework.

With the re-factoring now complete, you will be joining the 7 person development team you will deliver on a number of database driven web based applications from concept to release using Ruby/Rails within an agile/TDD environment using RSpec to achieve maximum test coverage.

You will also add new features, functionalities to the high-quality and high-traffic consumer facing website which will be used by hundreds of thousands of consumers. Here is what is being used within the team at the moment (Ideally you will have the same knowledge):

􀀻 Reddis
􀀻 Capistrano for deployment
􀀻 JavaScript (JQuery)
􀀻 TDD using RSpec
􀀻 GIT for source code management
􀀻 Node.js/CoffeeScript
